Still going strong...

Anyone who stumbled upon this blog might get the impression that The Love Handles folded about two years ago. Not at all: the last two years have been our busiest since we started doing this back in 2002 (I think).

Last Friday we played at a corporate event at the Croydon Hilton. The organiser was rather apologetic in advance that not as many tickets had been sold as hoped, and that being a group of insurers they might not dance much. She needn't have worried: it was a great night - one of our best, we thought (but then we always think that just after a good gig). Oldies like Blockbuster, I Love To Boogie and My First, My Last, My Everything went down particularly well.

Next gig: a well known golf club in Herts.
